The Permanent Secretary, Waiswa Bageya was honored to receive three (3) awards on behalf of the Ministry of Works and Transport at the recently concluded Nita-U e-Government Excellence Awards.
The E-Government Excellence Awards ceremony was held at Serena Hotel on the 10th of December, 2021. It was organized by the National Information Technology Authority Uganda (Nita-U) in partnership with Ernst and Young limited, Hauwei Technologies and the World Bank Uganda.
The awards ceremony celebrated the advancements in e-government services in Uganda under the Theme “Bold digital Government: Embracing Disruptive Technologies”
