The project is a design and build contract being undertaken by M/s. Stirling. It covers a distance of 1.5 km from Bakuli to Luwum Street. Although the initial concept was having an entire road designed as non-motorized, some sections of the road will be motorized. This is because there are already existing businesses, e.g. shops, and the owners would need vehicles to come close to their premises, e.g. delivery trucks.
